About Jessica Cambrook

I'm Jessica, nineteen from England.

Self-confessed tea & sushi addict. I love writing, reading, music, photography, art, films and reviews.

I've just finished a Creative Writing course and I'm going back to study English at college part-time in September.

Writing is the one thing I won't give up on! My biggest dream (since the age of five with my first ever story entitled 'The Skeleton with the Spot') has always been to become a successful author. Any feedback you can give is invaluable!

This short book did indeed deliver what it said it would. It gives clear ideas on all aspects of writing and publishing your ebook. I really enjoyed learning about Paint and the video trailers for marketing the book.

I am using one of her writing tricks to write when I don't particularly feel inspired to write. Good Stuff!

A very short book that does what it advertises - how to come up with an idea, write and publish without a penny spent. During the writing portion of the book, Jessica goes into how listening to certain types of music can keep you in a certain mood during a scene you might be writing. Not being a fiction writer myself, I hadn't given this any thought, so I though the idea novel. I think it would come in handy for a fiction writer.

On cover creation and a video trailer (part of marketing), she uses the software that already exists in Windows, so there's no need to buy extra software. I particularly liked her sample trailer (it doesn't seem to work on Google Chrome - use IE or Firefox to see it). As far as the cover creation goes, it's one of the best instructions on how to use Paint, to create a cover, that I've seen.

Get the basics in getting started from this book and use it.
