Short description

The purpose of this document is to understand how to use a very successful method of planning projects or high-impact processes.

Extended description

This document presents best practices on how successfully to plan projects and/or high-impact processes (such as, installs or upgrades, developments, revisions, disaster recovery plans and/or tests, etc.).

A majority of the contents for this document and its logic has been taken from a document developed in August 1995 for the successful, major startup of an insurance corporation. That document was derived from work jointly done by James E. Seymour Jr. plus technical personnel from Price Waterhouse. It was modified by this author in March of 1999. The same approach has been successfully applied at more than 300 projects at various private and public entities.
