I'll be the first to admit that I don't read much romance, nor do I know much about it. I can tell you the cliché, tell-tale signs and the basic emotions, but unless you have the chance to go through it, you don't know what it's like - and I haven't gone through it.

What I do know a lot about, however, are emotions - and "I Confess", while just a short flash fiction story, is full of them.

I smiled as the cold start blossomed into something more and felt the beginning of tears as the end neared. It is a bittersweet story, filled to the brim with emotions that take will take you on a ride thoughout the story.

Despite being short, it is an excellent story and shows that true romance exists and does not always need to be cliché.

Highly recommended to romance fans.
