I've been gluten-free for over 9 years now. When I first started the journey to living with food intolerances, quite often it was very depressing to think about all the foods I could no longer have. And it was hard not to focus on that. Until I turned my thinking around and discovered all the amazing and wonderful things out there that I could have that were all gluten-free! Now it's about celebrating wonderful fresh and delicious foods, and how easy it can be to cook and bake gluten-free.
I currently reside in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, and a huge agricultural community. I am always trying to further my knowledge of nutrition, and learning just how big a part foods play in our health and well being. I welcome the opportunities to help others figure out their journey with food intolerances and allergies.

I am new to the gluten free diet and I found this book very helpful. The recipes are easy to follow and as a vegetarian, I've been able to alter some of the recipes. Thanks for writing this book.
