About Shawn P. Cormier

Shawn Cormier was born in the small town of Southbridge, Massachusetts. He found his love for words early, reading the likes of Jim Kjelgaard, Jack London and J.R.R. Tolkien. Finally, having run out of "good reads", he put pen to paper and at age twelve wrote his first short story. He has been writing ever since, earning his Creative Writing degree from Long Island University, Southampton Campus in 1989. When not writing, he can be found in his jewelry store, repairing ancient heirlooms and studying the magical properties of gems, and wishing he was writing.

Review by: Jeremy Marr on Aug. 01, 2012 :
I got hooked somewhere within the first line of the first chapter. I love the writing style and the character development left nothing to chance. I am currently reading the Necromancer, book three, and if you are looking for a great read that you will not be able to put down, does Shawn Cormier have the series for you.

Good book and well written story.
"The good" characters are likeable and "the bad" characters are exactly as "bad" as they should be.

Well written and well formatted (.mobi version)
