All those dormant hormones she’s been too busy to notice for the past twelve years suddenly wake up and set their sights on her married boss. Not good. Her mama didn’t raise her to be a home wrecker. Besides, Ben’s wife Marion is president of the firm, and Hope has a niggling suspicion that Marion didn’t want to hire her in the first place and is waiting for any excuse to fire her.

Hope decides she has but one recourse. She plunges into the local singles scene. After all, if she kisses enough frogs, one of them is bound to be a prince in toad's clothing who will exorcise that damn Ben infatuation from her system.

However, Marion harbors a hidden agenda. A week after Hope is hired, Marion walks out on Ben, leaving him to raise their three-year-old triplets on his own. When Marion relinquishes all claims to their children, their home, and their business, Ben agrees not to contest the quickie Caribbean divorce that will free her to marry their biggest client, an elderly Italian count.

Marion’s timing sucks. The family’s nanny/housekeeper has suffered a ruptured appendix and will need a six week recuperation period. Ben’s attempts to find a temporary replacement fail. His staff convinces him to ask Hope. She’s recently wrapped up work on a major project and has nothing to do until the other staff members complete the next phase of a new job. Ben reluctantly asks Hope to pitch in as temporary nanny. To his surprise, she accepts.

Hope has no experience with children, and the thought of living under the same roof with Ben for six weeks sends her hormones into a tailspin. Although her head tells her to hop the first bus out of town, having seen Marion’s lack of regard for her sons, Hope can’t turn Ben down.

But if Hope thinks her entry into the singles scene will provide her with enough male testosterone to counteract her attraction to Ben, she’s sorely disappointed. She soon learns that of the limited number of frogs in the dating pool, there’s not a prince among them. Besides, even with Marion out of the way, an office romance is a humongous no-no.

After a marriage made in Hell, Ben is overwhelmed by Hope’s warmth and caring -- both for him and his sons. Trouble is, every time he looks at her, his lower anatomy ambushes his brain.
Ben finds himself developing feelings for Hope, feelings he knows better than to act on, given the mistakes of his past.

But Hope refuses to take no for an answer, and her three-year-old accomplices are a triple threat of determination when it comes to finding everyone a happy ending.
