A sure-fire sci-fi page-turner!
This sci-fi short, Short Memory, the third in the Star Sails series, finds the crew of the SS Falcon heading home from deadly encounter in a hostile region of space. They had originally been sent on a salvage mission, when one of their own ships disappeared. Along the way they encountered enough mayhem, mystery, and adventure to last them a very long time. They also picked up an intriguing and charming new passenger. Now they are a little worse for wear and nursing a bloody nose. On the long, lonely journey home, they come across beacon, placed by a seemingly warm and welcoming species, beckoning them to their planet for some camaraderie and respite. They can't resist. I won't spoil it, but what happens next is a sure-fire page-turner!
Fans of things like Star Trek and Stargate will find this story right up their alley!
