Their first assignment is in sultry Esfahan, where they need to find a controversial Iranian rock star, rumored to have converted to Christianity and been sent to his death. Sami of Ashavan was a project of a well-known church in the U.S., who rejoiced in the rock star’s conversion…until Iran arrested him on charges of Satan worship and rape.
To make amends for killing Noah, who Wara loved, Alejo’s new boss in CI has ordered him to take Noah’s place and be the man Wara loves. But every glimpse of Alejo is killing Wara, reminding her of what he has done and why she can not trust him. Ever.
