Quite a good read. This novel kept me hooked as I was intrigued to find out the hidden past that seemed to be causing so much trouble in the present. Admittedly I was a little disappointed with the revelation of the hidden past but it did explain a lot of the insecurities felt and lived by the troubled young man. Not a lot of words were wasted on descriptions of places holding the focus on the main character and his inability to interact well socially. Also, I felt, his final journey revealing the past could have been dramatised more with more focus on the spiritual aspect of the journey deserving of greater indepth description. Overall, an easy read for a wet week-end.
