Jessica Drake, an thirty-something survivor of a nuclear and biological holocaust, has wandered the earth for nearly a year looking for any sign of life.

By sheer chance, one day she discovers the cabin of what might be the only other survivor in the world, but he's not exactly happy to meet her.

After a nerve-wracking first encounter, they find themselves driven together out of necessity and the urgent need to cool the intense fire of their lust.

This story is as much a well-written scifi short as it is erotica. In particular I really felt Jessica's anxiety about the coming dark and the danger an unexpected snag outdoors coul bring near dusk, in part because of very effective world-building. The sex is hot and appropriate to the plot.
