Part 2 of the Legion Rises Trilogy.

Picking up where Crashed left off, the survivors of the fated crash landing on Planet Deus seek to rescue the crew and civilians captured by the orc warlord Carundas. But the elf Yerreal's contact informs them that no such orc exists. They decide they're walking into a trap but are determined to stage a rescue anyway. Their plan to go in guns blazing fails the moment their ship loses power, stranding them inside the wastelands near a dark fortress. There, they're taken hostage by a band of orcs led by a diseased elf calling himself Setesh. In the fortress, they begin to uncover a larger plot significant to the planet as a whole and why they were brought there in the first place.
