On September 11, 2001 the United States felt the true force of terrorism. In response, the US government created the Department of Homeland Security. It is responsible for assessing the nation’s vulnerabilities and coordinating federal, state, local, and private entities to ensure the most effective response to any future acts of terrorism. The department is made up of various committees, including the National Council of Protective Technology. Texas Congressman Andrew Jackson is a key member of the committee and has convinced congress to fund a new project called the Biomechanical Defense Program. He is also determined to find his way into the White House.
Doctor Damien Rime is an amazing bioengineer and he has developed new technology that has potential to provide the United States with an advantage in the fight against terrorism.
