Description

General William C. Lee is the father of the American paratrooper. He is without equal in the annals of WW II history. Almost totally unknown to the general public, it surely is appropriate on the 65th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of France to give him some due. General Lee was felled by a massive heart attack and was not able to lead his beloved 101st Airborne into battle.
