About Tom Gething

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tom Gething received a B.A. in English literature from the University of Arizona in 1975. After a year teaching in Mexico, he earned an MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and spent a career in international business before pursuing fiction writing in earnest. In 2008 he published a short story, "What Lies Within," in the Soundings Review and his story "Sabotage" appeared in the July 2012 issue of the Barcelona Review. He lives in the Seattle area and is working on a new novel.
