Told in a present-tense, quick-strike manner, Tell Me a Thousand Times relays a dark sci-fi story through multiple eyes. Both its length and style lend itself to multiple readings to truly grasp the compact yet intricate story woven together by Toushkov.
Told in a classic short story set up, much is left to the reader's intuition. Though, the author sets the stage with crisp, precise detailing throughout.
Most gripping line: "...his rage subsides like an ocean on a vast inhospitable planet..."
