The Glyph Saga Book One: A Great Escape

The year was 2098, SF. The planet was Ecliptic Earth. The population was approximately two and a half billion, a combination of Humanoids, Androids, and Soligrams. The problem was an egocentric and overriding Oligarchy, a dimwitted Dictatorship, and a damaged Democracy, locked in a fierce and blatantly personal fight to stay afloat in a tumultuous, combative, broken civilization. About D. K. N. Yuko

There are not many African-Americans or women writers in the Science Fiction, Fantasy, or Occult Fiction genres. However, these genres have been a passion of Dakarai Noshell Yuko’s for as long as she can remember. She has an affinity for writing multicultural stories with realistic characters and strong female leads, as well as unconventional poetry.

D. K. N. Yuko is no stranger to things that are considered unusual for a strong, African-American woman in the South. She developed a love for all things magical and mysterious at an early age. Her late mother was also an eccentric writer and crafter, and instilled in Ms. Yuko a robust love of books and all things uniquely creative that will last a lifetime.

Currently, she attends the Academy of Art University in San Francisco Online, where she avidly pursues a BFA in Motion Pictures and Television. After drifting from one end of the country to the other, she resides (back) in Atlanta, GA with her third husband (best friend), six year old son (biggest fan), and five fish (hilarious creatures).
