About Mary Ellen Quigley

Mary Ellen Quigley is a paranormal romance author from Indiana. She got the writing bug as a child in the fifth grade. The assignment was to write a funny story, and she has loved writing ever since.

Mary Ellen's love of writing continued when she went off to Marian University in the fall of 2000. She was enrolled in a creative writing class. The class strengthened her confidence in her writing and taught valuable tips on storytelling and flushing out ideas. It was then that Mary Ellen decided to pursue writing as a career. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Music. Mary Ellen also attended Calumet College of St. Joseph, in order to complete state teacher licensing requirements, and graduated with honors in 2008.

Mary Ellen took time after Marian to focus on caring for her ailing parents. She also used this time to focus on her writing career and started writing a novel "Nocturne" in 2006, which is yet to be released. In 2009, Mary began writing "The Wild Side." It will be released in the summer of 2011.

When not writing, Mary Ellen can be found with her feet up and her nose in a good book. She also enjoys gardening, crafts, and spending time with family.
