The author of the book provided me with a free copy of the book in exchange for my honest review after reading. Welcome back to Cottonwood. I was excited to see what would happen next with characters I grew attached to in book one and wasn’t disappointed. Getting to continue to follow Lydia and Sterling from book one was wonderful – I always hate to say goodbye to good characters at the end of a book and wonder if they lived ‘happily ever after’ so it was good to continue there journey. While book one was sweet, this book made me laugh. Watching an arrogant man be humbled, not only in love, but by men and by God made for a most interesting journey. The discussions between Maggie and Sinjun about God and what He expects of each of us, were as wonderful and engaging as the developing romance. The tough decisions they each faced drew me right in and made me feel even more a part of the town and the happenings there. Once again the writer provides a wonderful romance filled with humor, tough choices and Christian application. Can’t wait to see what happens next in this community that’s beginning to feel like home.
