Ebook description

Something strange is happening in the small town of Crump, people missing. Jodi Benton vanishes without a trace. Her brother George and new love Tim Wingo search for answers. It all seems to be related to the mesa that towers above the town and a group of investors who are developing an advanced craft for space travel.

A favorable afternoon's read, with a few twists, surprises and chuckles thrown in. Indie author Gary Headlee's characters hark back to those intrepid heroes of E.E. "Doc" Smith's legendary Lensman series, although Sholee might be better considered a figure by way of Carlos Castaneda. Goshawks, in any case, deserves a second look.
