She's just been appointed the new head of her coven, and is excited to start off a new school year. That is until six new families move onto the island she calls home, bringing with them a ton of evil magic. It's a fight for her life and her heart, one she's not sure she can win.

Caley Leora is a witch. Has been her whole life. Sometime's, she regrets living on Wes Melas, an island where everyone knows who she is, and what she is. But for the most part, even with the demon's and the spirits, she likes her life, especially since she's just recently been appointed head of her coven. Suddenly, though, her world's flipped upside down with the arrival of six new families, or old families, and they have a coven as well. And they are not alone. The typos and grammar issues were rant-inspiring. However I didn't feel that this was a full book, since not much was resolved at the end. That said, I probably would read the second book, since the plot was good and the characters intriguing.

This book had a great story but I found it very difficult to read with all the spelling and grammatical errors. It really ruined my ability to stay interested in reading. I'm giving it 3 stars because the story was interesting and unique.

This was a pretty good book. The start of it was quite slow and didn't exactly grab my attention and hold it, but by the end of the first chapter I was interested enough to keep reading. I also didn't feel enough of the issues in the book were resolved come the end. Plus there were multiple typing and gramatical errors throughout. It would have been a fantastic book if it wasn't for those things. I'm being generous and giving it 4 stars because after the first few pages I felt the plot itself was excellent, and the character creation and worldbuilding were done well. But I have to say that with the slow start and too abrupt ending on top of the editing issues I was tempted to only make it 3 stars.

This book has great potential. There are so many grammatical errors and misspelled words it makes it a slow read. Other than that ... it is an interesting story.
The only thing it lacked was magick. Some simple spells would have been better for the story. I would have liked to see more magick in the story.
I am looking forward to the next installment, though.
