About Dora Lee

Dora Lee, who is Chinese by race, was born and raised in Hong Kong. She attended Hong Kong University and Oxford University in England where she was a Commonwealth scholar. She worked closely with Jackie Pullinger for five years when Jackie first started her work in the Walled City. Lee is finishing another novel set in colonial Hong Kong and Xian, China.
