About Josephine Dillon

10/4/14 Well, minor set back in the book release date. It will be the final book for the Blue Series, however with that said, it will also probably be the largest, and I won't be able to finish it until the holidays. It would make the perfect FREE gift though! Go visit my Under The Blue page on FB for updates and excerpts from Volume 8. There will be quite a few surprises in this last book, and not every character will get a happy ending. Please, please, please, understand that, given the nature of the dark and at times, violent twists to this long story, to end it with a happily ever after would not do it justice. Let's just say, the ending will be "complicated."

9/8/14 Over halfway done with Volume 8. I plan on releasing it on or before Halloween, and as is the tradition with all my new releases, as a thank you to my reader friends, I will be offering it free for a limited time, so stay tuned and thank you for supporting me!!

8/4/14 I'm about 1/3 of the way through Volume 8, Blue Flame. It will possibly be the last book in The Blue Series, however I can't say for sure yet. Once I get at least halfway through the writing process, I'll probably know. It's going to be quite an intense book, and will leave many of you shocked, but I'm hoping that will be a 'good shock.' :). If you want to read excerpts from Volume 8, you can visit my fb Under The Blue page:

Thanks! Oh, and by the way, Under The Blue is free and has been edited ad nauseam, however the new product is shiny and FREE for the time being.

Bio: As a novice writer, I wrote the first three books from The Blue Series during the years 2006 through 2009. I wrote Into The Blue over a six month period in 2012 and have recently finished Back To Blue, Volume 5 a few months ago. I am currently writing the seventh book in the series if you count Beyond The Blue as two books.

I grew up in Oceanside, California, attended and survived Vista High School, and did attempt twice in one lonely summer, to drown at Oceanside Beach. I desperately wanted to be a boy as a child and teenager and envied my two brothers for their gender. I was considered a loner, didn't have any friends, so I created the story as a means of escape. It worked most of the time and I have to admit, it kept me out of trouble.

(Review for the complete "The Blue" series until book four)

I'm not really into the 'teen angst drama' type of stories, and it took me a while to download and read this series. It become quite a pleasant surprise the excellent quality of the writing and the superb ingenuity of the plot.
This is no "Twilight". The story actually evolves and its characters grow, make mistakes and become lovable, despicable, surprising, etc. Sometimes even all the prior at the same time.
"The Blue" it's not a teen story, despite the age of the main characters. It is at most a young adult series, not because of the so called "adult situations" portrayed along the series, but mainly because of the depth of some situations that those characters face.
The biggest challenge of this series is not the sex between the characters (the few instances of it) but the way as religion and mythology are interwoven and displayed.
"The Blue" is one of those series that you should not miss, and the biggest reason for read it is that from book to book the story get better, bigger and, best of all, more relevant.

like the other books, this was a joy to read, and again, I was afraid of getting to the end. somehow I got it into my head that this would be the last in the series, so I simply dreaded turning to the last page...

luckily, I see that there'll be another book (thanks josephine !), this series deserves a well thought out ending. and apart from the apocalyptic happenings to david at the end of this volume I simply need to know how things fare with joel (somehow he became my favorite character shortly after his introduction).

looking forward to the next part :)
