Short description

Simon Templar discovers his fiancee, Meredith, had been cheating on him for the first six-months of their relationship - just in case he proved to be a dud. Simon leaves Meredith and moves in with his best friend, Sean. From there, Simon renews the strength of his friendships, tries to re-build his (love) life; along the way finding the true meaning of forgiveness and FUBAR.

Simon Templar has led a relatively untroubled life; only hampered by his mother and father deciding the family surname was too good an opportunity to miss, and naming their son after the hero from The Saint books and television series (and the 1997 Val Kilmer film – but let’s not talk about that!) But even that (small) indignity is nothing compared to the night when his future father-in-law blurts out information about his daugther’s infidelity (that’s Simon’s future wife). From that evening Simon’s life changes completely. He moves in with his best friend, Sean (notoriously single) and tries to juggle the new-found freedom of singledom and the aftermath of heartbreak.
Simon’s friendships prove to be the most important thing in his world – he re-connects with Sean, and slowly their experiences entwine to change both of their lives.
