I anticipated reading this book based on the review. It was not what I expected. The plot deals with reincarnation. This element of the story was not clearly presented. The main character, Elizabeth came across as ill or weak and possibly delusional. I plodded through the story but it was not an enjoyable read.

Review by: Richard Sommery-Gade on April 07, 2013 :
A most unusual Regency novel. Besides being so very authentic in its detailing, the twist of the para-normal influence is wholly believable and adds a gripping edge of your seat can't put down to this work, that I found quite appealing. Unlike a lot of other reviewers, I am not going to go into the story line in intimate detail as others are doing, other than to say a young lady meets a bored member of the ton, who is mesmerized by a young lady who is not the normal chaser of wealth and fame in the marriage mart. So if you would like to be delighted with a refreshing change, immediately go out and get a copy and immerse yourself in her wondrous world. 5 Stars for this Regency gem without hesitation.
