Battling Burnaby: The Awe-Inspiring Exploits Of A Great Adventurer

Colonel Fred Burnaby is one of the greatest adventurers who ever lived and he was the kind of man on which romantic legends are built. A fearless dare-devil and intrepid traveller, he made two perilous journeys across Asia, and he became the first person to cross the English Channel single-handedly in a balloon. However, his first love was fighting and he was killed in action in the Sudan.

In the four decades James has been writing he has produced more than a hundred books and articles, the subjects of which reflect his varied interests.

2014 will be the most rewarding year of his career as he establishes his publishing company with two books concerning the First World War. 'Grandad's Great War Diary' by Geoffrey Dickson, and 'Manchester's Great War Victoria Crosses' by James Langley.

His new fantasy adventure novel: AXITORIA: The Land Beyond The Glade, will appear in print in 2014, and he is hoping to finalise publishing deals for his Gothic supernatural story: 'ENHANCED: Flesh and Blood.'

When he is not writing James enjoys visiting spooky places, singing, playing and listening to music, and spending as much time as he can with his family, including promoting his two daughters in the music industry.
