This is a crime fiction transpiring in the face of a pre- and post South African democratic era, in Durban's Umlazi township. The main character Sosobala Nozulu, is an unemployed young black man who experiences difficult challenges after matriculation. After a disappointing stint as a soccer player, he eventually finds employment with the racist multi-national shipping company. That in-turn compels him to enter the life of crime which he becomes successful until he's thrown right deep in it. Here he meets a no nonsense Afrikaner cop, Captain Warren Jones who's hell-bent on fighting crime and making his city of Durban a better place. His journey finds him true love in a young woman named, Sandy. Captain Jones becomes the Judge and Jury of Sosobala until a bizarre twist transpires. He makes it his mission now to safe guard this criminal so he could get to know more about him.
