Usually I am not a huge fan of anthologies unless they are tied to a particular storyline or setting. However I purchased this book for a couple of reasons, the first is based on the fact that the proceeds go to charity and the second is that it also features a short story by one of my favorite authors.
I am more than pleased with this purchase, I read all 47 stories in a day and will revisit them at a later date, not only are there big name authors included but there are a number of writers who I have not really heard of before but will most certainly be paying attention to in the future.
The stories cover a bit of everything, the interesting concept behind the title of the anthology and each story having a movie title as it's name means that no genre is particularly focused on and there is literally something for everyone in here. A fantastic read and a terrific cause. I shall be getting the previous installment for "Off the Record" and sincerely hope that a third one is released in the future.
