Review by: Patrick Howden on July 22, 2012 :
I have just finished this book after reading it all weekend. It's a wonderful tale about a lady who has had a lifelong problem with depression and addiction & how she conquered it.
Amy recovered all on her own & makes a mockery of the "AA is the only way" saying. Far from being a "Dry Drunk" because she didn't follow through with the 12 steps, Amy has shown an internal strength & compassion which puts many 12 steppers to shame.
This book flows from beginning to end, is easy to read & is an interesting story of a struggle for life, which any addict will find inspiring and informative.
