About Ellen O'Connell

Ellen O’Connell lives in Douglas County, Colorado, with a motley crew of Rottweilers, Rottweiler mixes and a Morgan horse. She was active in Rottweiler rescue work for almost ten years, first on her own, then on the Board of Directors of Rottie Aid (www.rottieaid.org). At the present time, her rescue work is limited to transporting dogs for Rottie Aid, but she expects there will be other foster dogs in her future.

Again, another fantastic book from Ellen O'Connell - love her writing style, how she writes the characters and their stories. As with "Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold" another book I've reread several times.

O'Connell's romances are always excellent; her books are on my "just buy whatever she publishes" list. I know I'll love whatever she writes.

In Beautiful Bad Man, the characters are strong and compelling; the storyline is intense and gritty. I loved watching Norah and Caleb relearn their joy in life from each other.

This is excellent for anyone who enjoys romance about a woman who sets her own terms, both in her relationships and life outside of that. Norah's not unwilling to cooperate but she has limits, and when they're reached, her will is absolute. Caleb is no flexible reed himself, but over and over, he finds himself compelled to comply with her preferences.

Ellen O'Connell is one of my favorite authors and this story is no exception among her wonderful western romances. The story of Norah and Cal is both heartbreaking and funny and depicts the development of their relationship beautifully. A great read!
