Wendy Daphne Conway lived in Africa for twenty years where she was engaged in various artistic activities, including theatre productions, promoting National Art and Craft exhibitions and writing plays for both African and European audiences. She received a MacMillan award for her play on the life of Sarah Bernhard and critical recognition for numerous theatrical performances. She was also responsible for the inception of 'Children's Television' in The Seychelles. On her return to the UK she founded a club for 'Thinking Women' that has proved very successful and she is at present reviving her interest in writing. Her short stories have received considerable aclaaim.
Wendy has two sons, Simon and Spencer, and now lives in Biddenden, Kent, with her husband Michael
