About Steven M. Roth

I have been a student of Chinese and Greek cultures, philosophy and history for more than two decades, and continue to be intrigued by the disparate and often contradictory contributions each of these remarkable civilizations has made to American culture.

I am a contributing writer to Kung Fu Taiji magazine and the editor of several books on Chinese martial arts. I also am a published historian in the field of early American economic and postal history with 96 articles and monographs to my credit. I am the immediate past Editor of an international quarterly journal for economic historians.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and history from Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from Duke Law School. I am retired from private law practice, and now occasionally work as a freelance writer focusing on computer security and related technical matters. I live with my wife in Washington, DC.
