Alex Tate's new client Athina Stassinou, widow of a wealthy Greek shipowner is in the process of redecorating her Beverly Hills home. She throws a "Trash and Paint" party, during which her fabulous diamond earrings are stolen.

It takes Alex's detective talents to discover that there are 3 potential culprits: and in the end, it is Dulce the doxie who will help nail the guilty person!

Meet Alex Tate, the (pleasantly) plump decorator and occasional sleuth, and her wonderful and smart long haired dachshund Dulce, whose unerring instinct often gets Alex out of sticky situations and helps her solve mysteries!
