Each story portrays a different animal, either born with a power or given a power, which usually gains some insight or learns a valuable life lesson. A moral is provided at the end of each story to help the reader think about the lesson the animal has learned. Based on fables, myths, and fairy tales, the stories reveal the dreams, wishes, hopes, and adventures of the animals. Although the animals live in different countries around the world, they share what we value in life: friendship, understanding, compassion, courage, peace.
