First in the Resurrection trilogy. When Grace, 27 years old and with only a few months left to live, returns to her home town of Brecon, she is catapulted nearly 1800 years into the past. About Elizabeth Davies

Elizabeth Davies was born and raised in South Wales. She lived in England for nearly two decades but returned to her roots when she felt the mountains of her youth calling to her, and hiking in her beloved Brecon Beacons is now one of the joys in her life. When she is not working as a full time secretary, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family, hates doing necessary chores, and tries to fit in writing whenever she can. She has published three novels in the Resurrection trilogy, "State of Grace" , "Amazing Grace", and "Sanctifying Grace", and has just released a new paranormal romance, "The Spirit Guide", and this time the story is about ghosts. She is also seriously addicted to chocolate.

Grace time travels to ±1800 years to the past where she meets the sexy but aloof vampire Roman. Her stays with him in the past grow longer and she falls in love with him.
The problem is that in the present day, Grace is a former airline pilot who had to quit her job due to a malignant brain tumor. She and her small close-knit family have difficulty coming to terms with this situation.
Her love-rat ex-boyfriend dumped her shortly after she was first diagnosed and this dealt a severe blow to her self-confidence.
At the end the implication was that all her encounters with Roman were in her mind culminating in a very sad ending to the book.
Well written novel.

I was really captivated by Grace and Roman. This is not your typical girl meets boy love story, which would be difficult as Roman is a vampire, but there is definitely love, both emotional and physical and neither character behaves like you would expect them to. Setting the novel in the past and the present is a unique twist on the vampire thing. Now going to download the next one!

Yes there were some spelling issues....did it detract from the story? NO! While you noticed them, this story was so engrossing that you didn't really give a flying hoot! This book was unique and spellbinding! I can't wait for the next installment! Do not hesitate to read this one!

I enjoyed this book, took off a little slow but gains momentum. Some spelling issue not too many though. I'm hoping that there is another book, otherwise the ending just leaves you hanging. If other is a 2nd book coming I will change my stars to 4
