M.J. Miello is a writer from New York City. He draws upon his experiences growing up in the 1980s when technology and heroic tales began to merge as never before. A lifelong fan of fantasy, science fiction and cyberpunk, he seeks to weave insights from psychology, futurism and neuroscience into tales of those struggling to find a place for themselves in an increasingly alienating world.

This book was really awesome!!!!! I liked the parts where he is playing a game...but thats just the start of it. The way the book describes someone getting smarter was really interesting. As someone who hasn't always done so well in school I felt for Eric. I also liked the Annie character. Even though they are just kids you can feel that their love is going to go somewhere.
