A close and detailed look at the Second World War occupation of Denmark as seen from the standpoint of a young boy and his experiences. The book includes descriptions of local conditions, mingled with the authors view of actual history. It also depict hillarious pranks played on the Gestapo by a group of innocent but currageous boys who created their own "war." The author has lectured widely to schools and book clubs, but is is particularly young people, ages 10 to 16, who have recently studied European History as part of their school curriculum, that find the book both irrisistable and entertaining.
