About Hickory Cole

When not traveling, Hickory Cole spends his time in North Texas with his wife and two children, stealing as much time away to devote to his writing as he can. Cole drew his inspiration for his novel, Little, from a family vacation spent in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He is also an avid football fan and currently serves as commissioner of his family's fantasy football league. (Go Motherboy!)

Amazingly well written action, suspension drama with a human touch about the likably 'Little' Family living in Tennessee around wildlife. But the nature are sinister and the humans too!

First there was 'Jaws', then 'Alien', and now 'Little'. Whether the action takes place in the ocean, space or in the dense backwoods of Tennessee, the thrill ride is the same. This is a very entertaining read, well constructed and executed. I would also add 'Horror' to the genre. Hickory Cole is a great story teller. Be warned, if you like to commune with nature, after reading this, you might not go camping or hiking for quite some time. And I'm definitely cutting back on eating chicken.
