She notices their stressful situations, how much they needed help. There should be many more options to help relatives and that is why she wrote the self-help manual.

This makes me see clearer how I should focus on my own well-being and not just other's, and understand how I often let myself be controlled by others. The exrecises help me out a lot.
I recommend the manual to anyone who struggles with living close to someone with an addiction problem.
