About Monte Hunter

Monte Hunter was born in Enid, Oklahoma. As a child, even before learning to read and write, he would "write" books by drawing pictures that told a story. While in high school, he began taking acting classes as a way to learn more about character development for his writing but was quickly hooked and has continued acting ever since. Not long after high school, Monte was accepted to and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. He then continued his education, receiving a B.A. in English from Oklahoma State University. Monte then tried his luck a second time in Los Angeles, where he went on to appear in a few televion shows and, to his delight as a horror fan, a string of slasher movies that were released Direct-to-DVD. He currently lives in Oklahoma and continues to write both fiction and screenplays.
