About Dean Scott

I have been involved in the veterinary profession in some capacity since I was fifteen. I first started rudimentary cartooning since 1988 and continued improving all through veterinary school, having survived and graduated in 1993 from UCDavis. People have said that I am funny (sometimes intentionally) and I have a website that says so, therefore it must be true. My goal has always been to offer up things that allow people a little escape from the outside world, a little haven of sanity. I try to not take anything too seriously and hope to give you a unique and humorous perspective through this medium. Enjoy!

oops forgot the star-rating - and anyway as a newcomer I find that there is Smashwords comment re 'long after purchase' - I like to think about the books I review and have limited access to i'net, therefore take several books at one go in case I run dry between visits!

I've fallen in love with Dr Scott - weelll, his writing anyway! Nearly choked to death on my belly laugh at the chapter on breeding. If you want the lowdown on what it's really like to keep a canine companion, buy this. If you don't, buy it anyway. It's a frank and funny look at the inside of a vet's point of view... (I'll give a plug for the funnyvet.com website too, which I've discovered because of this - a great lift to life).
