Why Christians Should Not Vote For Romney
Mormonism is not Christianity. Mormons have a prophecy about the United States that Romney will be used to verify. Joseph Smith, their founder, was a false prophet. The Mormons believe all other Christian faiths to be "an abomination," and that is what they preach. Mormons target their recruitment to other Christian demoninations, and they are growing faster than the top ten Christian churches. More
Mormonism has a prophecy that can, and will, be used politically to weaken Christianity. If you vote for Romney, you are enabling that prophecy whether you want to or not. Then Mormons will use that “fulfilled prophecy” to spread Mormonism. Mormonism teaches that men can become “coequals with God,” that God and Jesus are separate beings and are both "flesh and bone," and that God is a member of a multitude of gods with a home near a planet or star called Kolob. The Mormons believe all other Christian denominations are "an abomination." These are not my words, they are directly from Mormon doctrine. This is the official stance of Mormonism and is what they preach and profess.
Jesus did not believe God was one of a multitude of gods or that men could become equals to God. Every passage from the Bible the Mormons quote to support the assertion that Jesus said or believed the contrary have been theologically disproven. No Christian believes any ceremony will allow them to become a distinct god equal to Jesus Christ or God. All Mormons believe this. The Mormon church already grows faster than the top ten mainstream real Christian religions in the United States. If you help them claim their prophecy was true, they will grow even faster. Christians are monotheists and believe in one Supreme God; period. Mormons do not.
The founder of Mormonism has been proven to be a false prophet. In the Bible,Jesus spoke on the Sermon on the Mount:
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
And from the Olivet Discourse:
“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved… For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time”
Mormonism is not monotheistic or apostolic creedal Christianity and a prima facie claim is not enough to make Joseph Smith a real prophet.
Don’t politically help the Mormons spread their religion at the expense of other Christian faiths.
