Short description

Catherine just learned recently that she can see ghosts. She hopes she doesn't have to see them all the time.

Extended description

One night after dinner, Catherine and Jake stumble into an alley that has a ghost haunting it. The ghost of a fifteen-year-old boy, Eric, tells them about another teenaged victim, Sarah. They were both murdered at the prom, twenty-five years ago.

Sarah's ghost is nowhere to be found, but Eric wants Jake to find her killer. The police at the time thought Eric killed Sarah. Catherine doesn't think so; she thinks Eric is just a kid, who needs her help.

Even if he is dead. And sort of scary.

Second story about Catherine, a real estate agent who sees ghosts.
I liked this story better than the first one; it contains some more original ideas than the first one, and the first one was quite straightforward and therefore not very mysterious.
Though the question of who committed the murder is still rather easy to solve, I thought the ghost was more interesting, and the interaction with the ghost was more interesting as well.
I still very much like Catherine, and think her reactions to the ghosts are quite convincing.

I was given a digital copy of this book from LibraryThing in exchange for an honest review. I do not know the author. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a paranormal book about a woman, Catherine, who is a sensitive - but not to just any spirits, murdered ones. She is a real estate agent and her boyfriend is a homicide detective. She helps her boyfriend, Jake, solve murders. The one in particular happened several years before and was a double homicide.

It's a short, enjoyable read that held my interest all the way through. Even with being a short story, the characters are developed, likable, and believable.

This is the first book in a series (if it can be called that?) featuring Catherine, a real estate agent who is sensitive to seeing ghosts. Working with her homicide detective boyfriend (who is not sensitive to ghosts and uses Catherine as a go-between), she solves the mystery of a double murder that took place decades ago. This story probably could have been developed into a full novel, but as short as it was, it still kept me guessing and I surprised by who the killer turned out to be.

I won a copy of this ebook, thank you Jane Monson. Interesting short story of Catherine who is sensitive to ghost, but not just any ghost, murdered ghost! Helpful to be dating a cop, when it comes to helping the ghost solve the murders. Can read in an afternoon easily as it is a very short book.

This short story introduces the characters of Catherine, Jake and Camilla. Catherine can sense and talk to ghosts and helps Jake, a police detective, in some of his work.
I really enjoyed this tale about Eric, the ghost, and him wanting to discover the truth about Sarah's death.
A fairly quick read but it kept me guessing until the end and so I enjoyed it.

Quick read. But even though they are independent stories, the relationship between the two main characters has an order, and since the books are not numerated I read this one and Ghost Lovers in an incorrect order.

As I said with the other one too short to really get into the story, but good enough to kill some time. An unconventional ghost story.
