Award winning Danish author.

Born in 1968, I started out as a cartoonist in the early nineties, writing and drawing cartoons for several magazines in Copenhagen. In 1995, I debuted as an author with two novels, one of them later filmed, and went on to publish books in different genres, always aiming to do things a little different.

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, with my wife and two kids. I have had several works translated and published in foreign languages. My books have been filmed and made into radio plays.

Review by: S J Cavanagh on Nov. 15, 2012 :
I hadn't come across Steen's work before. He's the real deal, able to paint atmosphere and draw you into the story. Though you can see where Metro is going early on, the strength of the protag's voice and the depth at which everything has been thought through keep you reading. Definitely worth checking out.
