Amelia Hartliss, or 'Heartless' to her colleagues, is often taking time off from being a Special Agent and protecting the realm, to working on more mundane causes, and helping her friends. It is sheer bad luck that she happens to be at the University of Salford on the exact same day and the exact same place where terrorists decided to ambush the Prime Minister and take him hostage. It's even more annoying that her Bureau didn't even tell her he was in the region, and then went ahead and set up Protection Detail that didn't include her! Even worse, even when they find out she is on the premises, they continue to decline her offers of help, beleiving they can tackle these Manchester villains in their own way. But Melia has local knowledge, local contacts. She knows and understands these people. She can talk to them. Before long, it becomes very clear that the only person in the country who can save David Cameron from oblivion, and deliver him safely back to Westminster, is the ignored ..
