This was an awesome prelude to the Keeper of the Stones series, and the one I read first. It has vivid characters, a girl with awesome super natural powers she is just learning to use, jealous witches, one true love, and a battle to fight in order to find safe haven for them both. A bonus of background on the key players (goddesses and creators) for the entire series. A must read!!!

Awesome prelude to the Keeper of the Sones series. This book is a must read that will provide background for some of the characters in the Curse of the Ice Dragon. I'm looking forward to following the store of these and all characters in the series.
