I couldn't wait to get to this book after I finished Falling Angels! I wanted to see what Luc was up to next. This book had a great story and was not predictable. Mrs. Garcia has done a fabulous job with the character of Luc, and you really root for him in this series. I felt that there were some open-ended/unanswered issues at the end of the book, leaving me in great anticipation of the next book in the series! Also, living in the LA area, I'm familiar with a lot of the locations/references in the book, which I enjoyed reading about. For me, the mark of a great book is something that I can't put down even if I try. This book and Falling Angels are exactly like that. The story flow is great and I was never bored or bogged down with excessive words and detail. In short, I love this series and can't wait for the next book!
