Extended description

It’s 1974, and Jordan drives a beaten-up VW Bug from Indiana to southern California in hopes of reuniting with the first love of his life. Bo left without warning, and Jordan has to know why. Is it really over, or did Bo’s conservative, religious parents force him to end it?

All Jordan has is a few hundred dollars and a lovesick heart. Little does he know the dragon he’ll soon to face in the form of Bo’s intimidating, redneck father.

In a motel room, he discovers the most unlikely advocate a gay boy can imagine. Will Jordan be able to rescue Bo from the parents who condemned their relationship, or will his long journey prove futile and heartbreaking?
