This ia great book filled with many stories about becoming a sailor, going from boot camp through years of service in the Navy. It brought many good memories of my own time aboard ships at sea. The author is good at describing his many close friends and their times out on liberty running around.

Having served in the US Navy I greatly enjoyed this story. It brought back many vivid memories. There were many fun times and also many serious times as well. I wish to thank the author for taking the time to capture the great experiences he had while serving aboard ship.
