About Richard Gerry

Thug is a true story! Well, almost- It is a true story up to the point where the killing begins. It was written in the upstairs offices of a large family toy business over the span of a few years while the author was finishing his degree in English and supporting his new wife.
Richard went on to get a masters degree, writes professionally under differing names for differing subjects and publishes on average two fiction books per year. He has always had a fascination for the raw, uncaring side of people, where people become emotionless and simply do their jobs with ethics that have washed away over time. Thug is the beginning of a longer story of just that, even though Richard has thankfully left those days behind.
