About Jonathan Moeller

Standing over six feet tall, Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.

He has written the "Demonsouled" trilogy of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write the "Ghosts" sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the "$0.99 Beginner's Guide" series of computer books, and numerous other works.

Review by: Mark Urban on March 02, 2013 :
Bought this book because I've been thinking about using some version of linux on my home pc instead of windows. This book will help someone get started with linux.

My only criticism is that the author assumes that the reader has made the decision to make their pc a dedicated linux machine. In my opinion I feel most pc users are not willing to abandon windows OS entirely. I feel that readers would have been better served if the author would have provided the steps necessary to set up a dual boot OS arrangement on their pc.
